Melody Hi Fi warranties all of the Melody products purchased new from an authorized
Melody dealer in the U.S.A. Melody Hi Fi warranty covers any defects in original
manufacturing material (Except vacuum tubes) and workmanship for a period of one
year from the date of purchase. The warranty period for vacuum tubes is 90 days from
the date of purchase.
Return authorization must first be obtained by either calling or writing customer service
prior to shipping the products for repairs. The return authorization and the original dated
bill of sale are required whenever service is needed during the warranty period.
Melody Hi Fi warranty does not cover any damages caused by accident, misuse,
abuse, neglect, product modification, damage occurring during shipment, damage
caused by failure to follow instructions in the owner's manual, damage resulting from
repairs by unauthorized serviceman, and any Melody product on which the serial
number has been altered, defaced or removed.
